I’m working on brainstorming business ideas at the moment. No one can guarantee business success. BUT, you can give yourself the maximum chance to succeed by:
- Getting specific about the game you want to play
- Understanding the rules of the game
- Playing by those rules
Seriously, anything that you are planning on attempting has already been done before by someone else. You are planning a game whose rules have already been established. It’s your responsibility to learn those rules and play by them. Follow the footsteps of those that have succeeded and suddenly your chances of succeeding are way higher. If you don’t play by the rules, you’re aiming in the dark – it’s going to be a hit or miss. More likely a miss.
The wheel has already been invested; don’t spend time and energy re-inventing it. Become a sponge and soak every drop of knowledge up. Be the student, learn the rules. Success has a formula too.
